Sparks

Understanding Fireball's credit system and how to manage your balance

Sparks are Fireball's credit system — the fuel that powers automated dungeon runs, fishing sessions, and background services. Every action Fireball takes on your behalf consumes Sparks.

What Are Sparks?

Sparks are credits within the Fireball platform. They are not a cryptocurrency token and never will be. Think of them as the operating cost for Fireball's automation features.

You need Sparks to:

  • Run automated dungeon battles
  • Run automated fishing sessions
  • Power background services (Fish Seller, ROM Claimer, Loot Collector, Hatchery)
  • Use fishing hints in manual mode
  • Earn Fireball XP

How to Get Sparks

Free Trial — Scroll of Noob

New users can claim the Scroll of Noob from the Quests page for a 5-day free trial of dungeon and fishing runs.

The Scroll of Noob covers game runs only. Services still require Sparks unless you have the Scroll of Fire, which grants free access to game runs and all services.

Purchasing with ETH

After your trial, purchase Sparks on the Sparks page using ETH. The page includes a cost calculator to estimate your needs based on game type and time range.

Quests & Airdrops

Some quests reward Sparks — like the PWA Install quest. Occasional airdrops may also grant free Sparks.

Spark Costs

Different activities consume different amounts of Sparks. Costs vary by game type, dungeon/fishing subtype, and agent AI model. Your account skills can also reduce costs.

ActivityCost Basis
Dungeon RunVaries by dungeon type and model
Fishing SessionVaries by fishing type
ServicesPer invocation (varies by service)
Fishing HintsPer hint used in manual mode

The exact Spark cost is always shown before you start a run or subscribe to a service. See Spark Costs for more details.

Managing Your Sparks

Viewing Your Balance

Your Spark balance is displayed in the dashboard. The Sparks page shows additional details including your 30-day purchase limit.

Transaction History

Track every Spark movement on the Transactions page. Each transaction shows:

  • Date — When it occurred
  • Type — Game, Purchase, Airdrop, Service, or Hint
  • Amount — Sparks consumed or added (with +/- indicator)
  • Running balance — Your balance after that transaction
  • Details — Links to the specific dungeon, fishing session, or service

Filter by transaction type to focus on specific activity.

30-Day Period Limit

Each account can purchase a maximum of 20,000 Sparks per 30-day rolling period. This limit is enforced by the smart contract. The Sparks page shows your remaining allowance.

Requirements

To use Sparks, you must:

  1. Have an active Gigaverse account
  2. Be under the effects of Giga-Juice
  3. Have a positive Spark balance (or an active scroll)

Tips

  • Use the cost calculator before purchasing — select your game type and time range to estimate needs
  • Monitor your transactions to understand consumption patterns
  • Start with fewer runs to learn the costs before buying in bulk
  • The Scroll of Fire is your best value overall — it removes Spark costs for both game runs and services
