Agent AI Models
Reference for dungeon and fishing agent AI models and presets
Fireball uses purpose-built agent AI models for automated gameplay. Here's a reference for all available models and presets.
Dungeon Agent AI
Fireball's dungeon agent AI comes in three presets that control the playstyle:
| Preset | Strategy |
|---|---|
| Defensive | Prioritizes survival, safer plays, more healing |
| Balanced | Even balance of offense and defense |
| Offensive | Prioritizes damage, faster clears, riskier plays |
When to Use Each Preset
| Situation | Recommended Preset |
|---|---|
| Undergeared or new to a dungeon type | Defensive |
| General-purpose grinding | Balanced |
| Well-geared, maximizing speed | Offensive |
| Struggling with win rate | Defensive |
| Comfortable with the content | Offensive |
How the Agent AI Decides
- Situation Analysis — Evaluates health, shields, gear, and dungeon position
- Move Scoring — Scores each possible action, weighted by the selected preset
- Loot Selection — Prioritizes rewards based on rarity, needs, and game phase
- Phase Adaptation — Adjusts strategy for early, mid, and late dungeon rooms
Fishing Agent AI
Fireball's fishing agent AI handles all decisions in Agent mode:
- Card Evaluation — Assesses each card's damage potential and effects
- Probability Analysis — Calculates expected outcomes of redraws
- Optimal Selection — Always picks the play with the highest expected return
- Deterministic — Same hand against the same fish produces the same play every time
The same agent AI powers the hint system in Manual mode.
